For Toronto municipal elections for school trustees and councillors, each Ontario resident is allowed to make donations up to a maximum of $1,200 for each candidate.
The maximum total amount that an invididual giving to multiple candidates can give to candidates running either for the office of councillor or for that of school trustee is $5,000 for each of the races.
